Herzog Foundation Starts 2025 with Impactful Training Events in Dallas-Fort Worth

The Herzog Foundation Institute kicked off 2025 by bringing two of its premier training events for Christian education leaders to Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. These events are part of a larger effort, with 22 total trainings planned for the Dallas area this year as the Foundation expands its presence in this dynamic city. Dallas-Forth Worth, with its central location and high concentration of Christian schools, is the perfect setting for these professional development opportunities for K-12 education leaders nationwide.

“The Dallas area is saturated with Christian schools that are hungry for community and are focused on advancing the kingdom by training up the next generation,” said Herzog Foundation Event Coordinator Amy Billingsley. “The Herzog Foundation Institute provides opportunities for these goals to take place. With Dallas being so centrally located and a transportation hub, it makes it an ideal spot for this convergence to happen. I truly am excited to provide an additional training hub in this part of the country.”

From Jan. 13–17 , the Herzog Foundation Institute hosted two of its highly sought-after trainings: Marketing and Enrollment, and Organizational Leadership and Strategic Planning.

“For too many Christian school leaders, marketing feels like throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping something sticks,” said Herzog Foundation Insitute Coach Jay Tickle. “Unfortunately, this means their already limited time and tight budgets are wasted chasing trends while foundational strategies are overlooked. That’s a fundamental problem we’re addressing with the Marketing & Enrollment Retreat. This retreat focuses on the essential strategies proven to work: understanding your audience, crafting compelling messages, and leveraging the right tactics to meet enrollment goals.”

The two events attracted 131 Christian education leaders from 19 states, marking the beginning of a busy year ahead for the Herzog Foundation. The Foundation plans to host 22 events and engage over 1,500 education leaders in Dallas, with most trainings taking place at the Herzog Training Center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

“My time at the Herzog Foundation training has been nothing short of invaluable,” said Augustine Christian Academy Communications Director Kayte Anton. “It’s a bit like drinking from a fire hose in terms of the ideas and inspiration, but the practical tips and solid foundations you can bring back to your team make this training necessary for all Christian school marketers.”

The Herzog Foundation Institute has four training series: the Leadership Development Series, the Organizational Development Series, the Teacher Development Series, and the Virtual Training Series. Learn more about each series and the 40 types of training events in the Institute’s Series Summaries. Applications are now open for 2025 events at HerzogFoundation.Connect.Space
