Overview:
The Herzog Foundation is seeking an executive producer to manage our video and podcast studios at the Foundation’s headquarters. The executive producer will be a leader who can manage other studio staff and be the Foundation’s expert on video and audio production from pre-shoot to post-production. Supporting the mission of the Herzog Foundation is essential. This position will report directly to the Content Director but may occasionally work with other staff on foundation-related content.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and operate all aspects of studio lighting, film, audio, and editing

- Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all media devices

- Advanced knowledge of broadcast editing standards, trending content, and editing

Overview:
The Herzog Foundation is seeking a staff writer who can help produce news pieces for The Lion, an online publication that covers a wide range of issues facing American families and culture, especially related to education. A passion for writing engaging content, excellent writing and proofreading skills, ability to discover story ideas, and ability to meet deadlines are important qualities. Supporting the mission of the Herzog Foundation is essential. This position will report directly to the managing editor of The Lion but may occasionally work with other staff on foundation-related content.
Duties:
- Find and write news stories in a timely manner.
- Develop a process for finding and reporting relevant news stories.
- Work with the editorial calendar.
- Proofread publication content.

The social media manager will work with the content and communications teams in consistently carrying the Herzog Foundation’s brand throughout key social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once and collaborate with teammates are essential skills. Supporting the mission of the Herzog Foundation is necessary for success. This position will report directly to the Communications Director but will also work closely with other members of the content and communications team.

Overview:
The Herzog Foundation is seeking an energetic and reliable day porter to perform day-to-day building cleaning maintenance at our facilities. Overall duties will include removing debris interior and exterior, maintaining common room areas, restocking bathrooms and responding to cleaning emergencies. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. You will work with facilities manager to create an effective cleaning schedule, which will include your day-to-day routines.
Responsibilities:
- Sanitizing spaces for guests and onsite teams
- Prepare conference rooms tables and chairs before and after important meetings.
- Clean all common room areas including kitchen areas, vestibules, lobby and break rooms.
- Be aware of and utilize safe practices
- Monitor, clean, restock, and service washrooms,
- Gathering facilities trash and removing to outdoor trash receptacle
- Respond to any major spills or other cleaning crises.
- Remove litter and rubbish from main common rooms.
- Ability to work with various types of cleaning equipment (vacuum, mops & mop bucket, etc.)
- Help develop order and keep supplies and supply areas organized.
Requirements:

The Herzog Foundation is seeking an events intern who will help facilitate the efficient and excellent operation of all events by performing a variety of clerical, customer service, and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination and execution of all Herzog Foundation training events. This position will work closely with the Events Team which reports to the Training Director and VP of Operations.
- Must be able to demonstrate customer service, work ethic, and collaborative drive.
- Help with set up, tear down, and transporting items necessary for the event. This may include lifting up to 20 lbs and regular physical movement.
- Support the lead event coordinators prepare for events and run onsite and offsite events including preparing materials, rooms, and interfacing with guests. This may include limited travel.
- In addition to working internally with the HF team, the Intern may interface with outside vendors like caterers, transportation companies, furniture rentals, video production teams, etc. to fulfill their duties.
