Smithville, MO (April 8, 2021) – The Herzog Foundation is proud to announce a $25,000 matching donation to the St. Paul Lutheran School’s scholarship fund, to further Christ-centered education of students in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The St. Paul Lutheran community set a goal to raise $25,000 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of their school. This fundraising effort will allow more families to provide their children with a quality education that is also committed to the Gospel.
“Educating children and teaching them about the infinite love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ is one of the most important ministries that we have. The generosity from the St. Joseph community is a blessing from God and we couldn’t be more thankful for the additional help and donation from the Herzog Foundation,” said St. Paul Lutheran Church Pastor David Moore. “I am thrilled that with this donation from the Herzog Foundation, we will be able to lessen the financial burden on families in need and increase our enrollment.”
“For 25 years, St. Paul Lutheran School has been dedicated to serving the St. Joseph community and providing high quality faith-based education,” said Herzog Foundation Chairman Todd Graves. “We are proud to partner with a school that has a track record of excellence, and know that this scholarship fund will allow more children and families to join the vibrant St. Paul Lutheran community in the late Stan Herzog’s hometown.”
