Herzog Foundation Announces 2025 Homeschool Co-ops of the Year
The Herzog Foundation is proud to recognize the 2025 Homeschool Cooperatives of the Year, reflecting the continued growth and impact of parent-directed Christian education nationwide.
- Kingdom Education for Young Scholars (KEYS) – Chesapeake, Virginia
- HEARTS for the Lord Homeschool Academy – Ashburn, Virginia
- Christian Homeschool Fellowship of Lake Houston – Humble, Texas
This marks the second year that the Herzog Foundation has recognized homeschool co-ops as part of its Excellence in Christian Education program. These co-ops have demonstrated exceptional dedication to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and community-building among homeschooling families.
“We are witnessing a historic shift in education, and Christian homeschool co-ops are playing an increasingly vital role,” said Herzog Foundation President Darrell Jones. “These organizations are equipping parents, serving students, and creating vibrant learning communities rooted in Biblical truth. We are thrilled to honor these three outstanding co-ops in 2025.”
The Herzog Foundation selected this year’s honorees in collaboration with the Home Educators Association of Virginia and the Texas Home School Coalition, two organizations that have been instrumental in supporting and advancing parent-directed education in their regions. Each co-op was chosen for its rapid growth, innovative approaches, and commitment to Christ-centered education.
The 2025 Homeschool Co-ops of the Year will be celebrated alongside the 2025 Teachers of the Year in Washington, D.C. this fall. The event will include professional development opportunities and special recognition of each honoree’s impact on Christian education in America.
