Herzog Foundation Welcomes 2024-2025 Class of Ambassadors
The Herzog Foundation is thrilled to introduce its dynamic 2024-2025 class of Ambassadors.
“We could not be more excited to welcome the newest class of Ambassadors to the Herzog Foundation team,” said Herzog Foundation President Darrell Jones. “This second cohort brings a dynamic energy and readiness to make an impact. Through our ambassadorship program, we are not only nurturing emerging leaders but also expanding our reach and driving significant advancements in Christian education.”
The 2024-2025 class features young leaders from a variety of backgrounds, including an award-winning documentary film producer, a Missouri Bright Flight Scholar, a former intern to the Executive Office of Governor Ron DeSantis, and more.
Collin Bonnie is a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he majors in Criminal Justice. He is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska. Collin applied to be a Herzog Foundation Ambassador to help promote Christian schools across the country so they can be successful.
“Meeting with Christian leaders from across the country is going to be the honor of a lifetime,” said Herzog Foundation Ambassador Collin Bonnie. “I am especially looking forward to hearing their stories on how they came to Christ, and what their vision is to help the Christian faith across our nation.”
Esther Rea is a graduate of College of the Ozarks where she majored in Public Relations. She is originally from Nevada, Missouri. Esther applied to be a Herzog Foundation Ambassador to travel, make connections across the country, and advance her communications skills.
“I can advance my skills in addition to supporting the incredible mission of furthering K-12 Christian education,” said Herzog Foundation Ambassador Esther Rea. “What a blessing to be a part of this initiative!”
Ian Foster is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia where he majored in Mechanical Engineering. He is originally from Smithville, Missouri. Ian applied to be a Herzog Foundation Ambassador to serve others.
“I think families should have better access to high-quality, Christ-centered education,” said Herzog Foundation Ambassador Ian Foster. “I’m excited to expand my network and leadership skills while getting out of my comfort zone.”
Jaylynn Hall is a graduate of College of the Ozarks where she majored in Accounting. She is originally from Winamac, Indiana. Jaylynn initially applied to be a Herzog Foundation Ambassador because she was intrigued by the traveling and networking opportunities.
“Once I learned more about the Foundation’s mission, I knew I wanted to be a part of the change and innovation happening within the world of education,” said Herzog Foundation Ambassador Jaylynn Hall. “The children today are our future leaders, and it is more crucial than ever that they have an education pointing them to their Creator.”
Jenna Larson is a graduate of Bob Jones University where she majored in Elementary Education. She is originally from Everest, Kansas. Jenna applied to be a Herzog Foundation Ambassador because of the program’s alignment with her personal career goals related to education.
“I’m looking forward to the opportunities to travel, network, and learn new skills,” said Herzog Foundation Ambassador Jenna Larson.
Madelyn Stout is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she majored in Political Science and English with a minor in Constitutional Studies. She is originally from Havana, Florida. Madelyn applied to be a Herzog Foundation Ambassador because of her desire to work alongside the Christian K-12 education movement.
“Families are the backbone of our society, the place where legacy and culture find their roots, and they deserve to feel supported in their educational endeavors,” said Herzog Foundation Ambassador Madelyn Stout. “I believe the mission of the Herzog Foundation is worthy of sharing and spreading across the country.”
Samuel Gonzalez is a graduate of Regent University where he majored in Cinema and Television. He is originally from North Port, Florida. Samuel applied to be a Herzog Foundation Ambassador because he resonated with the Foundation’s vision and mission to expand the reach of Christian education and professionally develop Christian educators. Â
“As a former home schooler, I know how important equipping parents and teachers is to students’ development and experience with learning,” said Herzog Foundation Ambassador Samuel Gonzalez. “I was also struck by how young the Foundation is, and I felt the Lord providing an opportunity to give my hands to an organization that shares my Biblical values.”
Herzog Ambassadors are new or soon-to-be college graduates who will become completely immersed in the Foundation’s programs and operations in Missouri over a one-year span.
