Herzog Foundation Hosts Parent Empowerment Rally in Loudoun County
Leesburg, VA (April 19, 2022) – The Herzog Foundation, a Christian education non-profit, hosted a rally today for Loudoun County parents. The rally served as an opportunity for community leaders and parents to come together and discuss a path forward for K-12 education. The Herzog Foundation also announced a deployment of resources for local schools and parents, including a new podcast and two upcoming training events.
Making the Leap will be a podcast for parents who want to create a better educational future for their children. Co-hosts Christine and Chris Stigall will discuss their decision to pull their daughter out of a government-controlled school and enroll her in a private Christian school. They will talk to society experts, educators, legislators, phycologists, and parents, uncovering systemic issues in education and laying the groundwork for change.
Upcoming training events include a Donor Development Bootcamp in June and a Marketing Bootcamp in August. Both events will be hosted by the Herzog Foundation at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Virginia. Christian schools across the nation are welcome to attend, however, a number of seats will be reserved for Christian schools in Northern Virginia. “Loudoun County is ground zero for the parental rights movement,” said Herzog Foundation Chairman Todd Graves. “The parents of Loudoun County deserve educational freedom for their children, and we’ll make sure they have it. Christian schools in this area are already thriving, and we want to extend our resources so they continue to succeed for many years to come.”
“The energy in Loudoun County is palpable,” said Herzog Foundation President Darrell Jones. “Against all odds, Loudoun County parents are winning. And if we can win here, we can win anywhere. We are excited to deploy resources to Christian schools in Northern Virginia. The way that you all have stood up to the education establishment is inspiring.”
The Herzog Foundation was joined at the rally by the following guest speakers:
- Brandon Michon, Loudoun County Father
- Carrie Sheffield, Independent Women’s Network
