Herzog Foundation Hosts Parent Empowerment Rally in Wisconsin

The Herzog Foundation, a Christian education non-profit, hosted a rally today for Wisconsin parents. The rally served as an opportunity for community leaders and parents to come together and discuss a path forward for K-12 education. The following organizations and guest speakers shared information with parents in attendance:

  • Luke Berg, Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty
  • Scarlett Johnson, Moms for Liberty
  • Darrell Jones, Herzog Foundation
  • Bonnie Lee, 1848 Project
  • Justin Moralez, American Federation for Children
  • Alexandra Schweitzer, No Left Turn in Education

Talk radio personality Chris Stigall emceed the rally alongside his wife Christine. Chris and Christine co-host Making the Leap, a new podcast for parents. On the podcast’s first season, Chris and Christine walk listeners through their decision to pull their daughter out of a government-controlled school and enroll her in a private Christian school.

“After covid and school closures, we finally had enough,” said Making the Leap Co-Host Chris Stigall. “Just like so many Wisconsin parents, we decided to take control of our children’s education. It’s great to be around other parents who have made the bold decision to say, ‘enough is enough’ and reclaim their children’s education.”

“The way that Wisconsin parents are standing up to the education establishment is inspiring,” said Herzog Foundation President Darrell Jones. “It’s our hope that this community and these parents inspire countless other communities and parents to stand up and demand more for their children. There is a path forward and that path leads straight to Christian education.”
