Herzog Foundation Announces Donor Development Bootcamps for Christian Schools in Texas and Missouri

Smithville, MO (October 6, 2021) – The Herzog Foundation announced today two new training opportunities to take place later this year in Dallas, Texas and Kansas City, Missouri. These Donor Development Bootcamps will be the Herzog Foundation’s very first training events for Christian school educators and administrators. Zach Clark of Development and Leadership Coaching LLC will provide Christian school leaders with best-in-class training on donor development, fundraising, and relationship building.

Attendees will only be responsible for transportation to and from the training sites. The Herzog Foundation will cover all expenses incurred during the events, including food and lodging. The Donor Development Bootcamps are tailored to heads of school, development personnel, and/or school board members from small to midsize Christian schools. Up to two leaders per school may register at HerzogFoundation.com while spots are still available.

“Like-minded donors are the fuel for Christian schools across the nation,” said Herzog Foundation Chairman Todd Graves. “These training sessions will arm schools with vital plans for recruiting, retaining, and growing their donor base. Our Donor Development Bootcamps truly fulfill the directive Stan gave us in 2019 – advance Christian education.”

“These first two training sessions offer a small glimpse of the many resources we plan to provide for Christian educators going forward,” said Herzog Foundation President Darrell Jones. “As the proverb goes, ‘if you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.’ Our Donor Development Bootcamps are designed to do exactly that – teach Christian schools how to fish for like minded donors to fuel their ministry.”
