What’s going on? And why we need your input.

A federal appeals court recently ruled on a case involving the Olentangy Local School District in Ohio. The court decided that the district’s policy requiring students to use classmates’ “preferred pronouns” was unconstitutional — it violated students’ free speech rights under the First Amendment. The court held that schools cannot compel students to “affirm beliefs about sex and gender” that conflict with their own deeply held views. Read More
