Herzog Foundation Celebrates Grand Opening of Downtown Smithville Studio & Office Space
State-of-the-art production facility will create national programming centered on faith, family, freedom and Christian education
The Herzog Foundation celebrated the grand opening of Herzog Foundation Studios on July 16 with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony co-hosted by the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Community leaders, neighboring businesses and local supporters toured the downtown Smithville facility, met members of the Foundation’s media team and received a firsthand look at the production capabilities behind the Foundation’s growing lineup of podcasts, interviews and video series.
“We’re proud to call downtown Smithville home and grateful for the opportunity to open our doors and share what we’re building here,” said Herzog Foundation Communications Director Elizabeth Roberts. “This studio is proof that you don’t have to be in Hollywood, or even a major media market, to create exceptional content. World-class media can be produced right here in northwest Missouri.”
Located at 106 N. Bridge St. on Smithville’s downtown square, the approximately 6,900-square-foot facility combines a state-of-the-art production studio with offices and meeting space. Nearly 20 full-time Herzog Foundation employees, including its marketing, newsroom and media production teams, work from the facility, creating content that reaches millions of people across the country.
“The opening of Herzog Foundation Studios is an exciting investment in downtown Smithville and a powerful example of the talent and innovation found in our community,” said Nick Harlin, president and CEO of the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce. “We’re pleased to welcome this growing team to the downtown business community and look forward to the opportunities the studio will create for Smithville and audiences nationwide.”
Herzog Foundation Studios produces original programming and collaborates with like-minded organizations to advance conversations about faith, family, freedom and Christian education. Its programming includes educational videos designed to help leaders launch and strengthen Christian schools, as well as personality-driven podcasts addressing culture, education and current events.

Finding Your Spine
Hosted by Dr. Chase Spears, Finding Your Spine challenges Christians and conservatives to stand firm in their beliefs while navigating cultural pressures. Through weekly conversations and commentary, the show encourages listeners to demonstrate moral courage without compromising their principles.
The Mom View
Produced in partnership with Moms for America, The Mom View features Kimberly Fletcher, Debbie Kraulidis and Vanessa Faura in conversations about faith, family, culture and education. As the show’s studio home and production partner, the Herzog Foundation supports Moms for America’s mission of empowering mothers to strengthen their families, communities and nation.
“These shows represent just two of the ways we are extending the reach of Christian education far beyond the classroom,” Roberts said. “We’re only getting started. We’re excited to continue growing our team, expanding our programming and investing in the Smithville community.”
