Herzog Foundation Announces Frank Kruse as Chief Executive Officer

The Herzog Foundation today announced the appointment of Frank Kruse as Chief Executive Officer. Kruse brings decades of executive leadership experience, strategic growth expertise, and a deep personal commitment to Christian education.

Kruse is a proven business leader with a strong record of building high-performing teams, strengthening operations, developing talent, and creating long-term strategic partnerships. Known as a relaxed and natural communicator, Kruse brings a practical, engaging leadership style shaped by years of executive experience in the life sciences industry.

Most recently, Kruse served as an executive with Sekisui XenoTech, a pharmaceutical development company. Following the company’s sale, he founded Martin Hill Advisors, where he guides executives and entrepreneurs on strategies and structures to improve operations and accelerate growth.

“Frank brings exactly the kind of experienced, mission-driven leadership needed to usher the Herzog Foundation into its next chapter,” said Herzog Foundation Chairman Todd Graves. “His business background, commitment to developing people, and passion for Christian education make him exceptionally well suited to lead this work.”

Kruse and his wife, Nancy, are longtime advocates for Christian education, having sent each of their four children through Christian schools. Their personal experience has reinforced a strong belief in the power of Christian education to shape students academically, spiritually, and civically.

“I am honored to join the Herzog Foundation and advance its important mission,” Kruse said. “Christian education plays a vital role in developing students of character, excellence, and purpose. I look forward to working alongside the Foundation’s team and partners to strengthen and expand that impact.”

Kruse is the latest addition to the Herzog Foundation’s existing leadership team, which includes President Darrell Jones, Board Chairman Todd Graves, Vice-Chairman John Elliott, and Secretary and Treasurer Kristen Blanchard Ansley.

“I look forward to working closely with Frank as we continue building on the strong momentum already underway,” said Herzog Foundation President Darrell Jones. “This new structure is a natural fit that allows each of us to focus on our strengths as we advance the organization’s mission and future growth.”

In addition to his business career, Kruse serves as a Commissioner of the Missouri Department of Conservation and sits on the Advisory Board for the Johnny Morris Institute of Fisheries, Wetlands and Aquatic Systems at the University of Missouri, which is dedicated to developing talent for careers in conservation.

A native of Carrollton, Missouri, Kruse grew up on a farm and remains active in his family’s farming operation. He holds degrees from the University of Missouri and North Carolina State University and is a lifelong outdoorsman.
