The Herzog Foundation is seeking a social media manager who will lead day-to-day operations of our social media accounts. The social media manager will work with the content and communications teams in consistently carrying the Herzog Foundation’s brand throughout key social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once and collaborate with teammates are essential skills. Supporting the mission of the Herzog Foundation is necessary for success. This position will report directly to the Communications Director but will also work closely with other members of the content and communications team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute all social media initiatives, working closely with communications and content teams
- Monitor social media platforms to support communication and relationships with the Herzog Foundation audience
- Research and strategize content, keeping up with trends in a constantly evolving field
- Contribute smart and creative ideas to support the Foundation’s goals
- Lead results tracking and reports
- Assume additional responsibilities as reasonably assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Support the mission of the Herzog Foundation
- Strong computer and related technical skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, and familiarity with graphic design and brand concepts
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Work well in a team environment
- Creativity and originality with knowledge of foundational digital techniques, tools, and principles
