Schools are complex organizations that require teams of people moving in together to advance the mission. Often, school operations are overwhelmed by the tyranny of the urgent. At every stage in the school year, there are tasks to be completed, people to hire, students to manage, parents to meet, and boards to inform. It is time to step out of the day-to-day, reflect on the current energy and culture of your organization, and invest in the team that will drive your school forward.
In the Herzog Foundation’s Culture Building and People Management Training Retreat, we discuss real issues facing Christian schools such as team building, hiring, and firing practices. We also look at professional development and building a culture rallied around your school’s core values.
Christian education is at a critical junction in America today. Parents are reclaiming their children’s education and are looking for quality alternatives to the public system. This training retreat encourages you as school leaders to be the school God is calling you to be so that we might attract and retain more families and employees sold out for discipling the next generation.
Throughout the entirety of the training, each school will identify key next steps, changes, and improvements they can make to better their culture-building and people management practices. Attendees will leave the Herzog Foundation doors equipped and empowered to maximize their impact for Christian education.

This is a best-in-class event accessible for Christian schools across the country. Each seat is valued at more than $2,000 and is completely covered by the Herzog Foundation as an investment in your school. The Herzog Foundation will cover all costs during the event including accommodation, meals, transportation, etc. Schools are expected to cover all travel costs to the event city.
This event is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Attendees are expected to be present for all sessions in their entirety including activities, training sessions, and meals. If you cannot make this commitment, please register for a later event. Spots are limited as events are kept small to maximize networking and 1:1 coaching.
Schools are allowed 3 seats per event. We encourage Heads of Schools, board members, and other upper administrative personnel to register. Register now before seats fill up!
